In the Networked Media Tanks family, I would like to get the smallest one. You win if you’have the IPDVD 1080p player. Good performance (it is an NMT family member), easy to install and to travel with, it can be a strong competitor for the Western Digital WD TV.

An HD media player in all house ! Impossible ? No. The best illustration is WD TV from Western Digital. For less than 100 €, you can play all the HD formats on your date of the art High definition TV. Anyhow, this unit is quite fragile and have no network capabilities. As alternative, by paying 100 € more, you can buy a Networked Media Tank player. The NMT player highly perfromant when it comes to video decoding. They are also versatile players which provide many other services (Samba/NFS/UPNP/Bitorrent/....) . NMT players are a family with several members from several brands. We well know then and have evaluated on our French speaking website nine of them.
